July 11, 2011 - Well here we are. Tech week begins tonight. Liz, Cate, and I have been working in the theater most of last night and all day today. We're in good shape. The lights are hung and focused and they all work. We have to pain the floor after tonight's rehearsal, but after that we'll be pretty much all set.I'm giving you a little sneak peek at our set. No, the lamb seated in the wheel chair is not playing Laer. I can't wait to see it with the actors tonight.
The last few rehearsals have been great. Everyone is finding new sparks and all the little things are coming together. Acting usually falls apart during the first day of tech as everyone becomes acquainted with their new surroundings. So it's time to be patient and enjoy the last few days before the show is ready.
This will probably be my last chance to write because it's going to be a busy week. See you at opening.
